I'm sorry but I don't have huge amounts of time. I'm busy wrangling and
programming 100 rpg events. If I can help you, let me know.

No one at the staff meeting on Sunday knew anything about the computer
room. No one even knew who was in charge of it. There was no talk of any
plan.

I would love to see a thriving computer space. I've not seen that for years
at Strategicon.

Tell us what we can do. Honest. I just have no idea where and how to get
equipment in there or how to advertise this to folks.

Rants are okay on e-mail. Face to face would be another matter.
Here's my three cents regarding a plan:
We need to FOCUS on an event just like we do the rest of the con. Patrick
doesn't just have a bunch of games that he has on a shelf and hopes people
play them. I don't have a box of rpgs and wait for people to show up and
play something. PROGRAM the computer room. Specifically say stuff like:
Starcraft tournament starting at 3pm. 12 person Halo II starting at noon.
Etc. But we need to PROGRAM the events. Let's just focus on a few core
events and not worry about the "open computer gaming" environment. It's the
wrong approach and impossible to sell to folks because there's no one
interested in maybe-gaming. We need to give people something definitive to
sign-up for.
