[Deptheads] Need more room for Larps

Honestly, I think that unless the computer room has a lot of corporate
support (meaning the con can actually generate revenue from it), there is
little reason to continue it unless there are truly marquee events that will
actually draw attendees.

If you were to go another way (as Robert and many have suggested) and there
is a firm attempt to try and make it a more social thing with Guitar Hero,
Rock Band, and Wiis - then I could see the value in it being a 'wind down'
kind of place that is a nice add-on that people will actually wander in and
try. That kind of thing isn't likely with the old setup.

And, by the way, I don't think any of this is 'bitching'. People are trying
to work out a good solution to what everyone agrees is a problem area of the
convention. A viable solution is: drop it for now and use the space for
something that we know will draw attendees. Honestly, I don't think anyone
should take offense by the comment or be taken to task for suggesting
that. "We've always had a computer room" is one of the worst reasons to keep
it.
