I have to totally agree on this point. my "sleep number bed" consisted of
45 and 50...couldn't get it to any other number and I kept waking up after
about 2 hours of sleep each and every night there.

Who was our contact at the Hilton?

John

Since we're talking about the Radisson, I should mention that I went to a
board gaming event on Sunday and there were a half-dozen Strategicon attendees
that were all talking about how they've all booked rooms at the Sheraton for
Gamex because the Radisson rooms are so awful and the parking was easier to
deal with at the Sheraton.

When I mentioned that the convention needs to fill the hotel to pay for the
convention, the general response was that although the convention space is
nice, the rooms were so bad that they didn't want to stay. They said if they
are paying for three nights at a hotel, they should at least get a nice room
and a comfortable bed (which they feel they got at the Westin). I was told that
the word was spreading among the board game community that you can get a
pretty good rate at the Sheraton over the weekend and it's a five minute walk to
the Radisson. They were quite thankful to the guy who told them all about it
(won't mention his name to protect the guilty).

Honestly, I can't completely disagree with their assessments. The Radisson,
as nice as it looks in the convention space, really skimped on the rooms.
