Tanya, this is great stuff!

The event search is excellent so you don't need the full list on the page. However, lets make the search engine terms as open as possible so the maximum related events show up on the list. The more the merrier. So instead of "4th Edition", have the search bring up all games with "Dungeons" + "Dragons" in the name of the game system.

For the Z-Man events, let's put the tag "Z-Man" on every game system he publishes so every one of those games comes up with when people hit the Z-Man event button.

Maybe we should put a red pre-reg button on the Event page too. Give them multiple places to focus on sending us money!

  Hi Robert,

Please check out the dev site where there is a link to the 4e special event.

I hope this meets the criteria. Let me know if there is any tweaking required, or if I've missed something.

Is the event list necessary, since I have configured our events page to handle search by game system links?

There will be not be a separate page unless enough content is provided that I deem it necessary.

Let's create a "4e webpage" that links from the main page.

In fact, let's do the same with Z-Man. Use their logo as the button.

  1) Use the 4e Logo on the main page of the site with a click here to learn about 4e events

  2) Use the cover shot of the PHB on the 4e page.

  3) RPGA is going to get me a list of their proposed events (by Friday). We can have them listed on the "4e page" and they will also be submitted to the site for people to pre-reg.

  4) The "4e page" must have a link to the Events Schedule and a BIG SHINY RED BUTTON that leads directly to them paying the pre-reg.

  BTW, Kubla pre-reg is $45 / onsite $50 / one day $30

BTW, check out the www.gameologyshop.com website.

We should do something like this too!
