Moving for Gateway is not a realistic goal, we could do it, but Hotels
will have space booked already.  In the LAX area there are really only
four hotels that we can go to; Radisson, Westin, Hilton, and the
Marriott.  Radisson is out of course, the Westin would screw us again
sooner or later, the Hilton was not very interested in having us, that
leaves the Marriott as our next best hope. Outside of LAX, the few
hotels that would work are in very expensive areas. The Sheraton Gateway
might also work, but we would have to look at the rooms, I think there
are errors in their charts, the main ballroom may be much smaller than
they indicate.

That was unreal. I can't believe how shabbily they treat a regular
customer. I'd love to move this con but at the very least, Gateway
shouldn't be there.

Hell yeah!

 

Yesterday's treatment should be a wake up call for everyone.   All our
work goes to making the hotel an extra $100,000 and more.  You would
think that they could have a little respect for the people who make this
money for them. 

 

Here's the conservative basic math:

300 rooms x $100 each x 3 cons = $90,000

1000 attendees x $5 each for food x 3 cons = $15,000
