[Deptheads] Trying to solve the Parking situation where we're at

The radisson giving us help was joking sarcasm based on them putting us in this situation- not an actual idea..
And I am sure everyone realizes we are not talking about people just holding signs. if that were the case we would just hang signs outside.
Obviously the sign holders are there to interact with the con attendees and pass out maps etc. or they would just be a map.
Everyone relax, take a deep breath and think of nice thoughts like a new hotel location falling into our lap for august. Then we can all stand outside management office of radisson on monday holding signs of a hand giving them the middle finger. 
On a serious note I have stayed at carlson hotles with media accomidations and I have contacted their director of public relations and Communications (Joan Cronson). Not as a representative of strategicon but as media involved in the situation. She apologized and gave me regional supervisors to contact. These people are very helpful and I have the contact info and names for someone here to contact as strategicon. Robert, Erik A, mark hyman, or whomever just contact me and I will pass on what I have. 
crap! It is snowing again. It is only 38 degrees outside so it isn't sticking but wtf? April 30th and it is snowing. Ughh

I don't believe we should trust our con to the hotel staff. Even if we did get assurances from the hotel that they would help, I doubt they would follow through on their word such has been the case all too often.

Also, people "holding signs" isnt what we need here. The folks on Vicksburg will be handing out photocopies of maps - they need to interact with con attendees who are driving up and worried there's no locations to park.  Our volunteers need to assure them there are a variety of parking lots around, that folks can unload in a supervised area and that all the fun inside is awaiting them.
