"From a Local Gamer"
Information give out so far shows parking rates (at lots one block
away in various directions) raging from $10 to $16 a day (some give
discounts down to $9 a day if you pay in advance online).
You can see these lots listed here:
http://www.strategicon.net/index.php?goto=parking
What has not been shown is that two blocks away is LAX's "Lot C"
(North of the Hotel) which is free for the first two hours and $1 for
each two hours after. Lot C has a max charge of $10 a day and is
located at 96th Street and Sepulveda Boulevard. If you game for just
under twelve hours you could park for $5.

Another plan is to take the Culver City Bus or Santa Monica Bus which
both have lines that start at UCLA and travel to the LAX Transit
Center (at the South end of Lot C) for a cost of $0.75. The #6 Culver
City (Green Bus) runs down Sepulveda the entire way to the Transit
Center. The #3 Santa Monica (Blue Bus) runs to Santa Monica then
through Venice before reaching the Transit Center. There are other MTA
lines that also get to the same Transit Center from the South Bay and
other spots in Los Angeles.
Park in a neighborhood (Westschester near Winton's house?) close to
LAX and catch a cheap bus over to the hotel. Get back on the bus or
get a ride to your car when ready to leave.
Just some cheaper options that have already been done by very local
gamers.
