I  still do not see how anyone at a gaming convention would think a room 
called  "video game lounge" would be non-family.
Video  Game says what it is. If I had a magic: the gathering lounge gamers 
would know  it wasn't non-family and was for magic the gathering players.
There  are conventions that have pokemon lounges and loscon has a teen lounge 
 area.
Now  if we had a roleplaying lounge...............hotel guests may stop    :)

I agree with Janice in that Lounge has a kind of  non-family connotation 
associated with it, that we do not want to  foster.
 
How about Video Game Zone, Video Games Live,  or Interactive Gaming?
