[Deptheads] Child Care at the Convention

Similar to some of what was offered at the East Coast con, but the
children's track was not limited to crafts. It also had
media-oriented sessions, among other things. I'd have to dig out my
old programs to see what else. And it was not geared to having the
parent sit there with the child -- the children could do things on
their own, while their parents went to their own programming, but the
parents had to leave information about where they would be, in case
something came up. The track was run totally with volunteers, not a
paid service, and I never heard of a single problem with it.
Obviously, other people have concerns, but all I can do is say what I
know from my experience.
