No, this is ridiculous. If we can't have the parents take responsibility
for their own children we can always call Children's services.

We want the family to play together, in a limited fashion, not to have the
con be babysitters. The problem we have now is assholes that drop their 2
year old off and then run away to play their own game, this must stop, as WE
ARE NOT BABYSITTERS. We want the parents to be involved, and to make events
that the kids would enjoy. If the kids watched a disney movie, the parents
shouldn't run off as now their kid is distracted. This is horrible
parenting and would be enforced by the police anywhere else.

We want the littlest kids to be in one area, as otherwise it makes no sense
at all. We can have "Fun with my parents" so we can have games, crafts, and
movies for 2-8 year olds. We need 1 adult to stay with them for bathroom
and behavior issues, otherwise we shouldn't even try this. We can then have
junior events for 8-12 year olds. Again this might need to be a designated
area, where parents will attend, but can read books, or play games, etc.

It would be a NEW mindset, not a copy of something else from the past. We
are trying to get this con a new mindset, and get away from the old horrible
cons, and this could be a big step for families that like to game.
