As stated by others Dungeons and Dragons collectable miniature game is a "collectable".
You buy booster packs hoping to get what you want, the packs contain rare, uncommon and common figures, you build your force with pre-set points, and
every few months you have a new set to collect and change your force with (ie wizards of coast holds you upside down and shakes you til all your money falls out).
Expandable= you buy known expansions, card sets, or miniatures to expand the game. Value is as a whole.
Collectable= you buy random packs and pray. Open packs, collect sets, trade and sell rares and ultra-rares on ebay. Value is by the individual piece.
New collectable games appear like acne the night before the prom and they disappear as fast as free food in a room of convention gamers.
Strategicon Presents........should be before the name of each con. This way you auto tie them all in with startegicon yet keep their original names for
history. Most people I know from outside of the con think of them all as strategicon (winter, summer, fall)

I understand the problem, but I have not experienced it as much. If
anything, I've seen a lot of the reverse -- people who know the three
conventions' individual names, but don't realize they're all owned and
run by the same group.
