[Deptheads] Notes from Feedback Seminar

Folks,

Here are the notes I took at the Feedback Seminar:

MISCELLANEOUS
* Dolly(s) for transport of items
*** Small one for Poker chips
*** Large industrial one for loading/unloading truck 

CON BOOK
* We need better maps of the hotel, each floor needs a map
* We need a map for food locations
* Crate and CPK do not exist

EVENTS
* The Boffers on Friday night were a big hit
* LARPS and Boardgames in other rooms were difficult to find, need more signage
* Bigger fonts for Signup sheets
* Painting Contest needs more advertising
* A Costume Contest would be nice

MOVIES/SEMINARS
* Schedule needs to be posted out in front of room, and other places throughout the con
* Track #'s for Anime vs movies, as some people said they wanted more movies, others more anime(go figure huh)

REGISTRATION
* We need an Error message pop-up box for multiple badge entry
* Child Registration in Pre-Reg
* The Badges need to have a LARGE first name.  Having a very small lastname, firstname is not good.  Maybe even let people put their nom de jeur on instead, but in bigger font

BOARDGAMES
* Annual Award Certificates need more info on them
*** Annual Awards need to be played up more, with more signage
* Foyer should be used for boardgames
* Opengaming needs to be expanded as part of boardgames, if it's not part of boardgames no one will go
*** Blue sheets for Open Gaming on table for signups
* If a game is a special event, put the special part on the flag
* More Hearts tournaments

WEBSITE
* Need a checkbox for descriptions or no description veiwing
* Need a printable list for boardgames, that is one line per game, with a click for more info
* Some people want a personal calendar or schedule based on their pre-reg

DEALERS ROOM
* Much bigger than before is good
* All Dealers need to get list of games
* Move Dealers room back and put some tables in front for gaming/demos

RPG
* Bathroom in room is good
* Beds in room suck
* One whiner actually complained he had to walk to the end of the hall for a game
* RPG open gaming in seperate room was good
* RPG sheets for RPG HQ
* Board to display what games are in what rooms on 3rd floor and RPG HQ

MINIS
* Not around Friday
* Need board to display cancelled/upcoming events

COLLECTABLES
* Not around Friday
* Need board to display cancelled/upcoming events

HOTEL
* Food Hours need to be extended at the cart
* Can Non-hotel guests use the pool?
* Bathrooms for 2nd floor or better signage for others
* Parking need more, In/Out priveleges
* Internet Access and an EMail pit
