[Deptheads] We need to move some of this to the forums

Between my nonpreference for the Web forum format and the fact that a
week from today I'm going under the knife, if we move these
discussions to the forum, I'll pretty much drop out of them entirely.
I'm going to be limited in what I do on the computer, and I'm going to
stick primarily to programs and interfaces that will be easier for me
to use.  I'm sure some people will be quite happy if I no longer am
contributing.
