[Deptheads] Miniature Feedback Received

I agree with Patrick.
The venue matters. The venue is where people spend the bulk of their money. Room, food, parking.
The radisson has a ghetto feeling to our attendees. Poorly maintanied, horrible elevators, staff errors on billing and reservations, cramped feeling, and the reality of no parking for a year beginning our next con will be the kicker.
We also need more space. There is nowhere to put open gaming in the radisson on saturday. Every dept. is full to near full saturday from noon to 7, the prime con hours of the weekend. We had Magic the gathering pro tour , Kublacon, and an anime convention (fanime)that drew a chunck of our participants but most players will return in august/sept.
Space will be tighter than it was in May and couple that with the ice cold or sweaty hot gaming areas, non-working elevators, no hotel parking, and negative press we are getting we will lose several people- and it will snowball.

Folks,

The Venue has gotten the only negative feedback I heard, and each con it
grows.  People are talking about boycott or starting their own gaming
weekends, so I hope we are done at the Radisson after this con, otherwise
people will lose faith.

-Patrick
