[Deptheads] Parking

good searching
having several options is good.
1. friday to monday is 4 days
2. We will not be the only ones using either of the parking lots
3. Remember--this is a holiday weekend next to one of the largest and busiest airports in usa. Parking will fill up rapidly 6am to 10am.
Reservations are therefore the best way for our attendees (even if asking them to pay 35.10 upfront for 3 days parking is bitter pill to swallow).
Pay more to park for weekend than it cost to attend the convention.
Saturday is the day of reckoning. The day with the most con attendees and the day with least parking available. Saturday-only attendees get the biggest crunch.

The best additional parking I could find was Park 'N Fly. It is across
Sepulveda from the Radisson, an easy walk. There looks like there is a
gate close to Century and Sepulveda so that parking in the south east
corner would work well. NO IN & OUT! The rate is $3.30/hr, $17.55/day.
That is not that great, but if you stay all three days, Fri. to Mon.,
there is a coupon online for one free day, that 35.10 for 3 days,
$11.70/day. We can print out the coupons to hand out. Even though they
have a huge lot, they strongly suggest making reservations.  My
estimates are that the lot by the Sheraton will hold about 500 cars,
this lot will hold close to 3000 cars. The Radisson looks like it would
hold about 600 cars counting both levels.

If you want to take a look at their lot by google maps, here is the
address.
