date/time is a good idea but I do not see the benefit of having the gm or number of players in the conbook (except gms seeing their name in book).
The events and when they run is all a new attendee (or even a previous one) needs.
If you attend just to play in a rpg only run by a specific gm then you saw it on website or already know; otherwise gm listing doesn't benefit.
Date/time, event and description is all that is needed.

I know we want to keep the book small, but after reading the book as a whole we really need to include the date/time played after each description of an event next convention.  Also useful would be GM, number of max players, etc, on each description.  
 
I mention this because this is a pitfall the previous management got into, and their attitude was "well, the players know who it is and what it is."  Nothing is more frustrating to a new attendee than to read the book and not be able to find the information they are looking for, and we are heading that way.

PS I know some of the events had the information chopped off during transition from computer to book, because all of my events lost their max players, duration, and game system in translation.  This is something we need to look at during the convention and discuss at next meeting, so we can have continuity and completeness throughout the departments in the event description.
