A quick update. We can't move for Gateway 2008. Breach of contract has NOT occurred and we're not going to be the ones that commit it.

That said, an Orccon move is possible. So far, we have only one realistic offer, and that's back to the Westin. (we have some unrealistic offers involving set up fees of $15,000+).

I met with the Radisson Monday of last week and they're planning on remodeling the hotel between this November and next March. The following is planned:

Refurbishing the whole of the first and second floors
Removing the airwalls in California and La Jolla and replacing them with real walls.
Ripping out the third floor and replacing it with meeting rooms, which by contract we get.
Subdividing the Penthouse in to 5 or 6 "smart" rooms.

Parking is the big problem we all think about, but I'm also concerned they're treating us like crap. I get treated well, but it's apparent that most other people don't.

It has been suggested to me we create a task force to handle the problem. I'm all for this. Email me me privately if you wish to be added to it.
