I've known Dan for many years and he's a really good guy but is he a
marquee name to have as THE special guest for Orccon? Although it
would be cheap to have him (hey, he lives near me - we could carpool),
I'm not sure he will motivate attendance like a Jason Matthews, Martin
Wallace, or even a Tom Lehmann can.

I have a list of names that I'll release to the mailing list soon of
people we can reach out to in order to drive attendance. I'll try to
get that out tonight.
