Patrick,

Have you tried contacting Columbia directly and letting them know
exactly that (in a polite way, of course)?  Something like, "We'd
really like to have more game demos of your products, but your current
rep has trouble fitting the conventions into his schedule.  Do you
have anyone else in the area who might be able to come?"  (See, I
really can be diplomatic when I try. :) )
