More hotel intel -
Someone we all know stayed at the Sheraton. He described it as awful:
poor maintenance, sloppy upkeep, and very bad housekeeping.
My source considers the Sheraton to have gone badly downhill over the
past couple of conventions.

Eric,
Here are details from an attendee that stayed at the Marriott across
the street. He described his room as very spacious, nicely appointed,
and the staff as extremely accommodating when they asked for a
rollaway bed in a room that already had two beds (no charge and they
rushed it up there).
"After taxes and AAA discount and the parking fee ($15 a night for
their valet service with in-out privileges), it came to around $140 a
night."
As a result, they had a better room, closer parking (and valet, no
less) than everyone at the Radisson and were able to have three people
in the room.
