Joe,

either way is fine, but if it is an event already run by someone, I give them first shot, so you may want to send me a list of what you'd like to run and when, and we can work it out.

Kind of a general question for this.

Even though I'm movie room czar, would anyone object to me running a few scheduled board games? Particularly during those hours in the afternoon where the Seminar room is taken up by..seminars ^^

And, if so, should I simply add the events myself to the system, and let someone else determine the time, or should I submit the games some other way?

We need to get stuff up soon so as to start the publicity blitz. We're going to go at this early. I'd also like to do some special events.

    Suggestions?

The Catan-a-thon would be good. Or something similar. We may or may not have a Guest of Honor, but I'd like a tournament or two we can promote of a fairly popular game. We'll back it with increased prize support.
A push to get some of the Magic players from the game stores to the con is going to be attempted. We're going to do it the old fashioned way -- bribery.

You can tell I've got people willing to help with publicity again :-)

    Eric
