I have our group events listed already, and the guys are working on individual events to add to the schedule by the end of the week hopefully.

Subject: [Deptheads] Marketing email
Hey all,
Now that we are officially at the Sheraton we are going to send out our first
marketing email. The emphasis will be on letting them know about the hotel
change as well as the details of the hotel.
That being said, most people who read the email will instantly go to the
Strategicon site to see if they can go play their favorite event(s) at Gamex.
As of right now there are only 45 events up on the site for Gamex. We need to
put as many events up on the site in the 24 hours as possible. If RPGA knows
their schedule then it can go up now. If we have board games that we run every
con they need go up now. If we have Miniature events that we know we are going
to do that aren't posted then they need to be up on the site now. CCG events
that we know we are doing need to be put up now. If RPG has GM's from last con
that said they would do something for the next con, find out and put them up
now. I am not in any way singling out any department, every department needs to
put up more events ASAP. Not sure how many times I can put the word now into a
single paragaph but it cannot be enough times. It is critical that we get as
many events up right away
as it really helps if gamers who get our marketing email can go to the site and
see their favorite events will be happening.
Though we will mostly be talking about the location change in this email we will
also be mentioning a few key events. Please send me the things that you want to
promote for Gamex.
Thanks,
Eric
