I was speaking to him about another matter and he was surprised to
find out he had been confirmed and announced to staff as the guest of
honor, because he hadn't heard from anyone with the convention in
several months.  Since I was already talking to him, I asked if he
could send a bio and photo soon, as we are gearing up publicity for
Orccon.
