[Deptheads] room crisis

Our website seems to contradict itself. Valet or self-parking? I think if
they are saying self, we should say it. After my blast, I had three people
ask which it is. They also disliked "This may change shortly" on the day
before the registration deadline but obviously the hotel is putting us into
that situation.

Per our site:

   - The convention room rate is $109 per night for a double. The hotel is
now guaranteeing self-parking availability. This may change shortly.*
   - Rooms must be reserved 14 days before the event.
   - Valet parking is covered for ONE (1) car per room in the convention
price of the room. This only applies to registrations made using the
   convention rate.
   - The Radisson started construction on the parking lot on August 19,
2008. It will not be available for Orccon 2010.
   - There are now 350 valet spots available on site. The hotel is also
virtually surrounded by available off site
parking<http://www.strategicon.net/index.php?goto=parking>
   .
   - Handicapped parking is unaffected and still available to convention
   participants at $10 per day.

Parking Options <http://www.strategicon.net/index.php?goto=parking>

*As of 18 January 2010 the Radisson is now saying that self parking will be
available and the room rate will be as per contract at $109. We're looking
into this as this is a change from arrangements made prior to the con. Watch
this space for more information as it becomes available. Also, triples and
quadruples will be higher than the $109.
