[Deptheads] Dealer Room Update & a quick marketing note

Live action at a hotel, where everyone has to be in on the game?

Disaster waiting to happen... Even if it doesn't cause some scene or freakout, we need to keep hotel ownership and staff on our side. Harassing guests or the perceived harassing of guests, or people prowling, etc. are not good "hotel karma."

We are not in a hermetically sealed convention center.

Interesting idea.

Last con they have the "not to LARP" zombie game, where anyone who wanted to play wore a badge: Zombies tried to eat normals, who became zombies. Normals defend themselves with "weapons" on a business card. Those were handed out around the Con. They offered them to almost all the dealers, so Zombie players had an incentive to come. Ours were hidden by related products... so the pistol was under "Carson City" game display.

Side note: I wondered if we knew who organized that event? I met some Comic Book guys from LA who have a non-zombie "graphic novel" (and other storylines) who might want to attend a con and would sponsor the event teamed to their book.
