Yes, I think you are right.  I know I would be as an attendee!   Might be 
worth having things every two hours (instead of every one) at some points 
in order to keep a chance for a window?  Maybe encouraging a 6:30 or 5:30 
Dinner/shopping break for in-progress games?

Flea Market:  How about having the Flea Market in the Foyer outside the 
Exhibitor Hall?   People tend to make time, especially when the Flea Market 
opens, to get by.  If its really close to the dealer room, they may pop in 
also.

I should point out that the staunchest complainer about the flow of 
shoppers had what was probably his highest grossing, a certainly highest 
profit, at the last Con.  So it cant be THAT big of a problem!
