[Deptheads] Pre reg count!

Well, believe it or not we're up, despite losing about 20 from Northern California.
419 vs 415 from last year at this time (last year crept up slightly at the show, so might this year). Last year doesn't count HMGS, this year doesn't count SoCal Slaughter. In all, we're looking at slight growth. Not bad given *three* other competing game conventions.
Gabriel Vega is claiming about 650 pre reg, but that includes volunteers. If we do that we're right around 800 (Tracy actually would know better). That's up for him. He's saying he'll hit 1100 over all (up from 975). Celesticon is saying they will hit 300 total for the weekend. They can easily break even on that.
So we held out own despite Northern California rebounding. What might this mean as far as the SoCal Smackdown is concerned? One of two things. 1) They are expanding the market! This might actually be a good thing. Or 2) They are screwed. Don't know which.
Going to be an interesting weekend. Thanks everyone.
Eric
