[Deptheads] Painting Contest

I give it a thumbs up and echo the thoughts of Tim and Shawn.
As much as I love judging the contest with carol we can stop being Simon cowell and paula Abdul and enter our minis and give shawn and Bob a run for the gold.
Make sure they give you (Robyn) exact details on set up, miniautre entry, presentation, miniature security, contest rules and details, categories, awards and ribbons, etc. and keep Tim
in the loop....also make sure the final proposal that you approve of is given to PR so we can promote the event.
 
Being on the 3rd floor is not a big issue. At first thought it is because of the traffic in the dealer's room but we really need to expand the traffic flow so convention attendees have reasons to see that the
convention is also on the 2nd and 3rd floor and there is alot of cool stuff to see up there (larps, rpgs, miniature gaming, paint and take, etc). And the tour can add the miniature painting contest on it's route.
This will be a win/win for us and CMON. Awesome.

Are we ok with it?

It does bring in CMON into sponsering the contest and will provide more visibility outside the convention, but with them wanting to have it on the third floor it might not be as visible and will not be a draw to the dealer room.
