Is there anything you need from us HMGS/PSW to help? Do you still have the "Game Flag Stands" Harmon made and HMGS/PSW donated last con? We will have some more soon if you need them. It looks like there are going to be quite a few HMGS/PSW games at "Gateway" so good luck, we will miss many of your faces, and we will see you all in the Spring! You can put me down as running my new Samurai 15 mm castle siege then!

  Ok Mike the PFS scenarios are submitted to you for approval in the rpg area.


  I also posted the Warmachine tournament to the event queue and it is posted on Privateer Press’s web site and it is beginning to be posted on other sites.

  Marketing department:  I Need flyers (actually business card size for this event as soon as possible).  I want to blanket Gencon with the business cards, hitting all the players who are going to Privateer Press Nationals at Gencon.  I need help with this and need them before Gencon.  <help>  <help> < help>  This cannot be put off.

  We also need to make flyers that we can start blanketing stores with about the event for September – This is a direct marketing against the other con, so cannot wait. 

  We need to get the word out.

    That right, Strategicon Gaming Conventions is raising the ante and hosting a 50 point Steam roller tournament.  http://www.strategicon.net​/

    What is so special about that, you ask?  Well we are raising the stakes.  First prize for the tournament will be a trip to Privateer Press' Nationals held yearly at Gencon Indianapolis in August of next year.

    Strategicon will be doing this at each of its conventions it holds:

    Gateway - Labor Day weekend (first weekend of September 2011)
    ORCCON - Presidents day weekend (Washington and Lincoln's Birthday weekend in Feb 2012)
    GAMEX - Memorial Day weekend. (Last weekend of May 2012)

    The winners of the three tournaments will be sharing the thrill of going to Indianapolis to compete against the best of the best at Privateer Press' National competition.  Strategicon will be providing stipends for air fare, reserving the room for the winners, and buying the winners entry to Gencon and the Nationals. 

    What more can any gamer ask??

    The first qualifying tournament itself will be held Sunday, September 4th, 2011 at the Sheraton LAX, in Los Angeles, California.

    The tournament will be held at 10am till we have a winner.  This might be 3 or 4 rounds, depending on the number of entries.
    Bring 2 lists to the tournament, 50 points.  Theme lists are ok.
    Strict time limits will be enforced in the tournament.


  This also needs to goto the special events page on the Strategicon web site.  Once it is on the special events page, we can tweet the word out and I will hammer the advertising out there on the interweb.

  I have included various Privateer Press logos that can be used on the flyers, business cards and the special event web site.
