[Deptheads] Gateway 2011 guests and events

I just figured that since Columbia specializes in strategic games that you would want him in your area to help promote your area and give him an area with an audience at the same time.
I also figured that if we have a Guest of Honor who basically IS a manufactor we would want to give him tables for the convention to display product and run events and demos as they like. I do not know what he wants to do yet, but I wanted to have the logistics in mind so I didn't have to have him wait for answers when he does come up with an agenda. Knowing Grant, he will probably have a banner to put up in his area to help us promote his company's presence, making your area ideal for expansion and inclusion of this guest.
I am WAY open to any ideas, just trying to figure a scenario that benefits everyone involved.
John

Uuummm, we have never given tables to a guest before? We don't have a lot of room we use every table we have got as much as we can, is this something that is expected? Usually if someone wants to be associated with the War Game Boot Camp we just try to find tables near us.

OK, not a problem. How many tables can he have in your area to set-up/demo Columbia Games stuff? i don't need to know right now, but i'll need to let him know so he can figure how much stuff to bring.

Hi John,
Thanks for the offer but we had a hard time keeping up with Roger at the last con (and there wasn't really that much to do) we are really busy at the War Game Boot Camp. If you don't mind "handling" Grant I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

I have finalized Grant Dalgliesh as a Guest of Honor for Gateway (most notably of Columbia Games and HARN).
Karl, as you are the wargames guru, would you like me to "hand him off" to you or do you want me to continue to handle things?
John.
