Saturday and sunday con.........same time as Neoncon.
They advertised at comiccon and thru disney, marvel comics, horror sites, celebrity blogs, sci-fi magazines, comic review sites, anime sites, and nickelodeon.
This is their Los Angeles version of Comiccon--world of comics, gaming, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and anime
Stan lee as guest of honor with Ben Browder and  100+ stars of from old school sci-fi and tv like judd nelson, richard hatch, eric estrada, and actors from buffy, xena, star trek, star wars, stargate, G4 and other gamer tv shows, disney stars, nickelodeon stars,horror stars, internet show sensations, video game voice actors, writers, authors, artists, etc. Basically the same group seen at comiccon but with disney and nick stars added (the tween crowd says hurray).
 
Comiccon, wizard world, and now comikaze (nice play on comic)
 
Fandom, cosplay and costume contests, and open gaming......plus several warhammer 40k tourneys , magic tourneys and pro tour player challenges, pokemon tourneys, old school nintendo tourney run by lisa foiles (actress and video game reviewer),
and the prizes for the tourneys are ipads, ipods, hdtvs and for warhammer $2000 dollars in prizes and stuff. 
We should contact them asap to get a booth there either thru exchange (like smackdown did) or purchase one. This is a great pr moment for us to reach people outside our own circles of gamers. Smackdown will be there. Several of our regs will be there (seen several of them on the facebook site for the event saying they were attending). Smackdown touched base--time for us to keep a foot in the door will all the other cons in the area too.
 
This is an opportunity to reach out, and expand and grow as well as touch base with their staff, volunteers and guests for our events. Real soon...as in yesterday.
