[Deptheads] Swag and stuff for Gateway 2012

Thanks for the update Eric.  Notes below:
 
1) Flash Point and The Resistance: Avalon - Indie Boards and Cards likes to send games for "Play to Win". We're getting a pre-release Avalon (it was supposed to be exclusive but apparently someone at DragonCon convinced them to send one when they heard we got one - oh, well - Atlanta so not really Strategicon competition). No such luck for Celesticon and Pacifcon despite Indie being in their backyard so chalk one up for my chutzpah in pushing them on it. 

The Resistance: Avalon are listed as a DEMOs, so if we give anything away for them, it will just be a nice surprise for the winner.  Flash Point: Fire Rescue is an event, so the same goes for it.

2) Small World - We have a nifty 'champion' shirt (XL size only) and some metal turn markers for everyone at the final table. I'm inclined to think with this extra swag, we don't need to put in as many dealer dollars. Shane - your call. 

The Small World event is listed as sponsored, so people know they are getting swag and not Dealer Dollars.  The other expansion events (Realms, Underground, Invaded!) are all small tournaments.

3) 7 Wonders - Asmodee just sent me a bunch of stuff. The big things: three copies of the Cities expansion and another 7 Wonders. The winner of the MEGA tournament can get these so perhaps we want to cut the overall cash prize? Maybe in the future we say it is 'valued at $100'. Whatever - just thinking ways all this nice publisher swag can help us save some money. Also, we got about 100 copies of the 7 Wonders "Settlers of Catan" promo so we can hand them out to all 7 Wonders tournament players and probably have a few extras, too. I see that there are 20 pre-regs for that tournament so it should be well-attended. Furthermore, we got a bunch of library games and probably 10-12 games we can just give away as prizes. I've given them away on Twitter from the library before but if you need prizes for Monday events, Shane, (after the dealer room closes and all) let me know. 

The tricky part with this one is that the winner might already have a copy.  What I will likely do is have a conversation with the final table and go over their options. I am tempted to keep the extra copy of 7 Wonders for next con, because I am planning to replace MEGA Monday Dominion with MEGA Monday 7 Wonders.  And we can advertise ahead of time that first prize is a copy of the game.  If there are extra 7 Wonders Settlers Promos, we can save those for Orccon as well =)

We also got about 100 Dixit promos and a small number from a new game Mundus Novus.

There isn't a Dixit event scheduled, so I am not sure what you would like to do with those.

4) Village and Belfort - I got Tasty Minstrel to replace our pilfered Belfort and they went a little crazy. They sent six copies of it and their new KDJ-winner Village. We can give away a prize each for the tournaments and then save one each for next time, keep two of each for the library and still have some to give away as prizes. Shane - let me know if you need any. 

The Monday morning Belfort could be changed to a "sponsored" once we are there.  And we could add a "sponsored" Village event to Monday pretty easily.  I am pretty sure I can get Seth to run it.  And then we can promote them during the weekend.
