[Deptheads] Twitter Questions - Profile of the Con

I know Samantha and her husband Brandon volunteers for me. Samantha is a sweetheart and I have no issue with her being allowed access to vip function and doing interviews.
 
....but....after Orccon we need to address media access for future conventions. In this day and age of social media and 10s of 1000s of people taking pictures and doing interviews for their sites, blogs, facebook, etc. we as a convention will need to have approved and authorized media for our convention (like gencon, comicon, origins, and others do). We see their site, credentials, etc. and approve them for media access at our convention. Those that we do not categorize as actual "media" can still do interviews and take pictures but they do so as a convention guest....no free access to paid events,vip functions, or special access/special consideration for filming or taking pictures. Our PR team would handle all media requests and approvals. PR can approve most or even all of them--but at least they asked for media access, they feel better knowing they were approved as media, and we know who is at the convention as media so we can peep their site,
 link to their write ups, visit with them at con and give them tours and point them to "things to see", and our PR is not only in the loop but they oversee it.
We have D20 Girls, Boardgamegeek, happyjacks podcast, and Boardgame Babylon as some of our authorized media.

That's Samantha Henrikson. She's one of the winners of the tweetup, and she's still volunteering some hours for me. If it were up to me, I would want her to be eligible. 
Also, we can think of her as press, so why not?
