Subject: [Deptheads] T-Shirt Order Page Suggestion

Excellent suggestion.
The site does not specify color but since we have announced that the t-shirts are going to be Grey we should note that on the t-shirt order page.
Going away from black t-shirts is going to get some bad twitter feedback and there will be some unhappy people that ordered the alternate designs in black based on the website and get grey shirts.
On a side note--Mrs. White in white, Miss Scarlet in bright red, and Mrs. Peacock in bright purple and blue jump off the black t-shirts as does the orcon logos. In white or grey Mrs. white will disappear into the shirt and the others will be bland.
Note that Mrs. white in white is the largest character on the group shot shirt and on her solo design on a grey shirt will be like looking at sue storm being semi invisible.
T-shirt color matters for this art. We had black t-shirts for orccon 2011 and gamex 2011 so what was the issue with black this time? Black t-shirts sell better than grey or white for gamers.
To echo what Eric Burgess said "White is ugly, ugly ugly" and so is grey.

Just a note:
I heard that the t-shirts are not going to be black. Since the order page shows black shirts, you may want to consider adding a bolded note at the top stating what color the actual shirts will be. That way folks aren't too surprised when they pick them up.
