[Deptheads] Lighting In The Miniatures Area

Miniatures knows we had lights.......I went with Robyn to buy lamps on friday morning. As far as extras go--at one point all were in use somewhere in the con friday and then returned as people in hallways and other dark areas running official events that borrowed lights brought them back. Sat and sunday we usually had some to spare since we bought extras for that reason. At any given hour they could all be in use or many left for use. Things will be smoother nowthat staff know we purchased extra  lights, and we have a quartermaster now for check out and return, and we will have a room to store things in instead of just dropping everything off in ccg room. 
 
I don't think frank was complaining about lighting--just that all tables someone will approach for pic taking will not be using the lighting (the lamps get hot and the players turn them off to cool off or the glare gets to them or it shines in faces) and anyone taking pictures randomly may want to bring lighting with them as they take pictues in hallways, collectables, miniatures, area between dealers and ballrom, etc.
3 times someone came by to film or take pictures of certain events in hallway near registration or collectables room and all times they needed to get a lamp to light it up or it was too dark when the pics came out and they came back next day to retake them.
One pic of the vampire ccg players gaming was so dark you could just see the cards on the table and I made the joke that it was because vampires don't show up on film.

Hello;

Please take note for next convention... There were MANY unused lamps sitting in the CCG room that could have helped illuminate the minis area. No one was keeping them out of circulation. It just seems no one thought to get them...

We've got a lot of lamps. 

If they are needed, PLEASE ask for them.
