[Deptheads] Cool Mini or Not Painting Contest

Great group of guys but processing the event was chaotic.
After we finished judged they notified me they only provided the travel prize and awesome stuff for the winner. I notified tim and he told me to do what I thought was best so I added dealer dollar prizes to the event
like we had had before when we ran and judged the contest alone. Several people put alot of time and effort into painting their minitaures and getting them into our contest so seeing just the winner get a prize and not 
any of the kids or anyone else didn't seem fair. Also....we will have our represntative take pictures "also" next convention. I rather have twice as many pictures from several sources than to try and track down pics from the only source.
I remember all the winners and 2nd and 3rd places...for now...give another few weeks and it will be harder. As long as we get the pics very very soon I can label them based on 1st , 2nd, and 3rd and they can be put on the website.
 
Also...we should have the miniature contest display in the dealer's room. For a majority of our members unless they have events in that warhammer room on the 2nd floor they didn't go in there and see the miniatures. How many people here saw the contest miniatures?

Since someone involved with the group actively discouraged our regular photo taker, we had better get pictures from them, or I, for one, am going to be pissed. 

On the flip side, if we do get the pictures and they are labeled 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category, I will be praising them for it.
