Hmm,
There is a full size popcorn popper stored in the attic of the Knights of Columbus Hall in Anaheim...

Nick,

Can we confirm some times to show the film? Two chances should be more than sufficient and I'll be happy to show up for the first one to introduce the film. The director just sent me some great copy that I'm sure Kryssie will appreciate not having to write. My recommendation is that we show it twice, once on Saturday afternoon (later, say around 4pm) and then again on Sunday at a different time (morning or early evening would be cool - perhaps right before the Feedback Forum).

These are not carved in stone - just throwing them out there so we can talk about it. We'd prefer to drum up some excitement for first show. Could we do popcorn or something? Probably too much cleanup but it would be fun.

Yes we should do it... we might want to consider charging non-attendees (free admission for con attendees).  Nick Chavez is the new movie room guy (I added him to the cc list in case he is not on the Deptheads list).

She's actually said she doesn't care about getting proceeds as long as we put an ad into the conbook to let people know where they can buy it. We should totally do it - do we have a new movie room person yet? ;)

This movie is just about complete and I know the director a bit. What do we think about offering her the chance to debut the movie at Orccon? I know she's wanted to charge for it and we already have the Settlers event at the show. Can we do a second 'ticketed' event in our system? It would be good publicity in the board game community and possible the film community, as some distributors might catch it at our show (for which I'd advocate an option to charge non-con attendees to go to just the film - maybe $5 for attendees, $10 for non-attendees). What do you think?
