If ya'll powers that be are putting the stamp of approval on this OrcconTweetup I will hop to it!
Here's what I am hopping to:- Announcement textSemi completedStrategicon presents, The first OrcconTweetup! "Some # of" lucky winners will get a chance to attend the premiere LA gaming event for free this Feburary! Participants must be following Strategicon on Twitter. To register send your "insert registration details" to OrccconTweetup at gmail.com. Winners will be announced on XYZ date. Game on!Or something to that effect:) - Announcing on my personal Social Media accounts that there is a Tweetup- Creating an OrcconTweetup free email account where people can register CompletedAddress is OrcconTweetup at gmail.comPassword is OrcconTweetup2012- Create the registration requirements CompletedFirst Name, Last NameAgeTwitter HandleGaming Fun Fact- Randomly pick winners- Tweeting Winner's twitter handles and Gaming fun fact are tweeted out- Be point of contact for winners- Day of Tweetup, gather all winners at registration- Take group take pictures- Sharing their experience via Twitter and encourage winners to do the same throughout event- Play 1 Tweetup Group Game - Get word out to game shops that Strategicon is having it's first ever Tweetup
Here's what I need help hopping to:- Announce Tweetup to followers from the official Strategicon Twitter - as I do not have access to the Twitter account- Date of winners annoucement- How many free tickets will I have to work with? And will those tickets be for 1,2,3 or 4 days? This will help me figure out how many winners there will be. I think 1 - 5 will be best, so your paying customers won't get jealous.- Will they get a free t-shirt too or just tickets?- Will they get a few free dealers dollars?- Treating winners to a tour (Kryssie helpz!)- Arranging a special autograph and/or gaming session with the guest of honor, and event management (that's you guys)- Game shop contacts
That's all my brain is popping out right now...

It's golden - I hope so.
By the way, I looked into converting our Facebook account to a Page and we'd lose all of our content (Photos, files). That's pretty painful. An e-mail to Facebook's customer service returned a reply that the conversion is 'take it or leave it' but that they are planning to improve it down the line. My thought is to hold off until that happens in the future because we have some cool content on our page right now and we can even trick out the Timeline with that content to make it more appealing.

          - Perhaps they can have a special autograph and/or gaming
            session with the guest of honor, perhaps they get priority
            seating at game, perhaps they get a free t-shirt, perhaps
            they all play one game together, perhaps they get front row
            at a one of the shows, perhaps they can meet event managers
            (folks behind the scenes)
          - Take a group picture and post on website
          etc. etc. etc.
          

          
          I know someone from the LA Times who might
            be interested in this sort of thing, and many non-gaming
            types who've attended other local tweetups.
