We probably should keep the dice as perks only.
Once they are availble for anyone to get they lose their cool factor and uniqueness.
They have been RPGA vol perks for many years, now to be convention wide vol perks, and if for sale they would have a defined dollar amount worth that can be paid instead of earned thus deminishing the reward.
Marketing wise if we really wanted to have orcon/games/gateway dice out there advertsing our cons then make them limited edition dice (only so many made) and vols are guaranteed to get a pair (or have a different color just for volunteers).
Either way make sure vols get dice that are unique and cannot be purchased...they are earned volunteering.
