Nyquist, you so silly! :D  Orange would cause the eyes to go all wonky if
it's the same intensity as the blue.  Complimentary colors like to fight
for the spotlight, rather than play nicely.  Yellow works; Red could
possibly work, as well.  The banner has a lot of white space; were you
planning on filling it with something?  Maybe pictures from the departments?
