Yes.
We have said we would like to have a boardgame guest of honor and a guest of honor from another dept. each convention. Eric B. was getting the boardgame guest and no one picked up the ball on getting non-boardgame guests.
Eric B. has said gateway 2012 was his last con getting guests and vips (and just doing the library and family stuff) so whomever steps into that role will now coordinate all the guests of honor (boardgames, non-boardgames, media guests, etc).
