I suspect that some of use are using brand  to mean something a little different.

I'm talking about branding mostly in a graphic design sense but also marketing too.

A convention that I think has great branding is PAX, everyone can easily identify their graphic look and themes. In addition from a marketing point of view most people know that they are not just about 1 thing.

A strong brand will lend credibility to our 'product' and connect with our target audience. 


 We should seek to find a brand that is inclusive. 

Im still unclear what exactly is our logo?  Is that dragon our mascot? Or is it that knight or the unicorn? Is our logo the blue and grey hexes?

So...once we have something more concrete when start changing things up with theme it wont seem so confusing and cheesy.
