I knew we're not talking about the future right now but as I am about to  
give over the reins of Guest of Honor-picking/wrangling to Norm, I thought  
I would share my spreadsheet of Guests past and future with the community  
here in case you'd like to add names and advise Norm in his task ahead.

Of course, it's mostly board game people. That's who I like and who I know,  
folks. Add your RPG people, your minis people, your LARP people, your  
whatever else is going on at the con people. Hopefully this can help with  
the future bookings.

There are some pokers in the fire already (for example, the awesome Bruno  
Cathala is ready to come in 2014) and some others that I can follow up on  
when I go to BGG.con, Gathering of Friends 2014 and I will probably be at  
Essen 2014 to promote a couple of my games that will be published at that  
time. I'm happy to still reach out to folks and broker something initial as  
long as it falls to Norm and team to take care of the guests' arrangements,  
events, and such. I'll always look in but it should be owned elsewhere.

As you can see, we've had a hell of a run and raised the profile of  
Strategicon considerably as a result. Many of these Int'l guests debuted in  
the US at Strategicon. And I'll set Paiva up for one: this helped make  
Strategicon relevant again.

Anyway, Vlaada will be a big hit at the show, I guarantee. He's incredibly  
friendly, funny, and cool. Here's to more cool guests in 2014 and beyond...
