Yes, but I think the ticket prices haven't deterred many people. If it does, it drives them to volunteer and we need more people anyway.

For those that remember him, Robert Lionheart urged me to up the prices to $100 at the door as he figured the hard core wouldn't drop us and we could build from there. I disagreed, but there was a kernel of truth to what he was saying. Tim and I have often joked that we only have to put on the con for one person -- the person that will spend $1 million on a ticket. Just have said person.

As is, we do have competition, and holding the prices down helped us I think fight them off. We only raised them when we had to, and I think our attendees appreciate that.
