For those don't know, he designed the immortal game Diplomacy. I hope we can write something about him in the next conbook. I've already shared some of my thoughts on my podcast's site and would be happy to pen something if no one else (uh...Aldrich...?) wants to do so.

Any chance we could get a Diplomacy tournament in place to honor him? They used to be huge tournaments in the 80's. I bet if we put a nice prize up, we could get the old players out of the woodwork. What do you think?
