[Deptheads] Strategicon - Question

As Tanya reminded us....general submissions are turned off after the deadline and only supervisors can enter events at that point (sometimes it is not turned off on time and events will continue to get submitted past the deadline). The same suggestions apply to events sent to you personally to enter after the deadline (person or company showcasing their own game at our con on their own dime should be given some leeway....same with a game you really really want to see on the schedule). And events will continue to be submitted all the way up until start of the con. At least 1 person here will get contacted the week of the con by someone wanting to add an event to the schedule last minute (and at least 1 event will be cancelled after conbook is printed)

Eric A. forgot to turn off general submissions. It's off now.

Eric B.'s suggestions make sense. Technically, events after May 3 are supposed to be only from internal sources, so it's up to you.

If they are paying to come to the con and showcase their game but they're a little late, I'd tend to cut them some slack since they have a lot going on to get ready. But if they're just running a game (and you don't want to make sure it is a game that is run), oh well.
