Shane,When you get the list finalized, shoot me a copy of the schedule and I'll start the payouts sheet.

I think my problem was mainly that there were still people adding events after the deadline who were not supervisors. So I was getting submissions all the way through yesterday or the day before. I don't necessarily want to turn anyone away, but I have been working really hard to track how many games are starting each hour so that I limit the overlap of events. Therefore, most of the peek times during the weekend are already full, and people coming to me now to add events are getting turned down, not because I don't want their games on the schedule, but because they want to run their events when everyone else already have their events scheduled.

As Tanya reminded us....general submissions are turned off after the deadline and only supervisors can enter events at that point (sometimes it is not turned off on time and events will continue to get submitted past the
deadline). The same suggestions apply to events sent to you personally to enter after the deadline (person or company showcasing their own game at our con on their own dime should be given some leeway....same with a game you really really want to see on the schedule). And events will continue to be submitted all the way up until start of the con. At least 1 person here will get contacted the week of the con by someone wanting to add an event to the schedule last minute (and at least 1 event will be cancelled after conbook is
printed) V

Eric A. forgot to turn
off general submissions. It's off now.
Eric B.'s suggestions make sense. Technically, events after May 3 are supposed to be only from internal sources, so it's up to you.

Not if you send a canned response explaining that.
I'd give some extra consideration to those running their own games. If they are paying to come to the con and showcase their game but they're a little late, I'd tend to cut them some slack since they have a lot going on to get ready. But if they're just running a game (and you don't want to make sure it is a game that is run), oh well.

Would it be inappropriate for me to just deny all the events people keep trying to add to the schedule? The deadline was last week.
