[Deptheads] Strategicon - Dice Order

Shane (but really, Everyone),

I have been thinking about this whole dice business and I want to bring up a few points that need to be addressed.

Since this has gone from being an "RPGA thing" to becoming Convention-wide, I feel the Board needs to be more involved in how many are being ordered, who does the ordering, and how they are distributed to said departments.

Before we place the next order, we the Board should review the numbers as listed below, and determine who will carry out the ordering process.

The honest truth of it is, to be direct, I feel it is better to approach it this way to avoid any sense (real or imagined) that any departments are beholden to another for what's "theirs".

I hope that makes sense. And understand this is not about the ordering hiccups (as you put it) from the last show. Rather, because of them I want to avoid any finger pointing, disagreements or blame in the future - by taking it onto the shoulders of the Board as a collective - rather than any particular department or individual.

            Of the three hiccups at con this weekend,
          this one was the worst.  I want to make absolutely sure that I
          get everyone's dice order correct.  If anyone wishes to change

        20 Type 1 / 40   Type 2 for VIP/Coll

        50 Type 1 / 50   Type 2 for RPGs

        65 Type 1 / 65   Type 2 RPGAs

        12 Type 1 / 12   Type 2 for VGs

        18 Type 1 / 18   Type 2 for Minis
        20 Type 1 for Reg
        

        
        This is 570 dice which
