[Deptheads] Room Assignments Hilton - Orccon 2014

I agree with Mike that there will be some concerns raised from RPG GMs
about sharing a large space -- many were hoping for a return to single
rooms (like at the Westin). I think communicating that Orccon is a trial
will help people to understand that.

LARP events start at noon or 2pm and run until midnight. There is a
persistent misunderstanding that LARPs only run at night, probably due to
the vampire origins of modern LARPing. Let me assure you that LARPers are
active during the day. We have occasionally tried to run LARPs in the 9am
time slot, but couldn't get critical levels of attendance (many LARPs need
20+ people to take off). It's also rough given the amount of set-up time
needed by the production team (many would have to arrive at the hotel at
7am to unload and set-up for a 9am game).

Thanks, Tim, for a largely thankless job.

Ryan
