Sorry...car wreck put me several weeks behind. Thank the other driver who was texting and t-boned me. Email me and I will talk to you about who said what about coming in sept. and feb (including one robyn suggested I contact). I just saw Eric Lang before I got hit. I was helping cmon with a paint contest and we talked about his new games kaosball and trains and stations and we joked about stuff we both were discussing on facebook that morning. The guest of honor we had lined up for Gamex since last year cancelled because they are way way behind on their kickstarter. Backup plans in effect and picture will be clear in next few days and posted.

Also, I'm going to livestream on the Strategicon USStream channel from the Boardgame Library some games played at our table there, inviting local publishers to show off their games to us, too. I'm appealing to the local guys especially to get their strong support but also as thanks for the publishers who send games to the library.
Please let me know if there are any issues there (as in, too much bandwidth to broadcast if we're limited, promotional concerns, etc.) If I do not hear otherwise, I will assume it is fine.

Just a note to say I'm back from the Gathering of Friends (Ticket to Ride designer Alan Moon's private, industry-focused convention) with some guest possibilities. This is mostly for Eric and Victor but others might be interested in voicing whether these guests would be good.

He's a fan favorite and has a bevy of great games coming soon (played his new X-Files game and it's quite good). We could probably get Tom Lehmann down again, too. He's always fun to host.

The majority of the attendees are from the East and it might inspire some people to fly out, raise awareness among the most exclusive gamer convention around, and impress the publishers who could support the conventions. Just a thought - let me know if you like the idea and I can propose offering one in the gift bag to Alan.

Victor,
Let me ask this directly: do we have a Guest of Honor for Gamex? It's less than a month away.
Also, shall I confirm Eric Lang for Orccon 2015? I can get him in touch with you about that. We might also try him of Gateway but he liked February best.
